Among freeride specialists, Monterosa has been the top spot in the south of the Alps for many years. It offers a wide variety of heliski terrains including the highest in the Alps, pushing off as high as 4500 m. Monterosa, with more than 25 landing sites and around 60 runs based in 3 valleys, is the largest heliski spot in the Alps.
Program
One high level flight to the top of Monte Rosa with a challenging descent in powder or steep spring snow conditions. Alternatively 2 low level flights (3.000 m) will be offered if conditions at 4.000 m are not ideal.
In some case skins may be used to reach points close to the helicopter landing area.
